At KDB Public School, we nurture the innate potential of our students and mould them into passionate, committed, competent, sensitive, value-oriented individuals with leadership qualities. To enhance these qualities KDB school is starting four programs in session 2023 – 24
The basic aim of these programs is to make students think differently and creatively beyond the textbooks.
Compassion With Passion - Class VI
‘Let our hearts be stretched out in compassion towards others, for everyone is walking his or her own difficult path.’
Compassion with passion is an opportunity for the students of class VI to show their emotional and tangible support to the less fortunate people of the society. The school has planned four different activities throughout the year like:
Maths Marathon – Class VII
We believe that a child is a bundle of finest qualities at subtlest level. To bring out the unmanifested characteristics to their manifestation is a gradual process. At KDB, we all are passionate about numbers and conversant with the impact mathematics has in daily life. There will be four rounds – First round, Quarter final round, Semi-final round and the Final round. The students scoring 60% or above will be selected for the next round. Top 3 Maths wizard will be selected in the final round. Consistency, calibre, speed and accuracy are the defining streaks to win this Maths Marathon.
Masterminds – Class VIII
In order to learn, compete and discover the hidden talent among the children KDB has come up with Science Masterminds program to cultivate scientific temper, to nurture their curiosity, aesthetic sense, creativity and enhance their cognitive skills. Mastermind is a pyramid with best mind at the top while the entire class forms the base, narrowing with every round. The mastermind bags the undisputable title after four challenging and testing innovative rounds.
Skype Session – Class IX
KDB propagates global citizenship by incorporating international dimensions to its curriculum. The school organizes Skype sessions with students at schools across the globe, to facilitate exchange of ideas, thoughts, and learning. As the students interact with the children of diverse ethnic groups they learn to appreciate and respect the multicultural and multilingual ethos, truly becoming a part of the world community. The young learners had enriching sessions with schools of Sri Lanka, Germany, Bangladesh, and the UK. While brainstorming sessions with the schools of Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam are on the anvil.
