In compliance with the CBSE’s initiative to promote skill education for middle school classes, KDB has planned the integration of vocational education and skill programs into mainstream education. It will ensure that every child in classes VI to VIII learns at least one skill per session and is exposed to several more. This would lead to emphasizing the dignity of labor and importance of developing skills involving Indian Art and Artisanship.
The skill modules lined up to be taken in the coming sessions are Block Printing, Pottery, Baking, Food Preservation, Herbal Heritage, Embroidery etc. Imparting knowledge of such skills will help students to use the acquired knowledge in real life situations and make them confident and independent.
